Entrance Fees to Mount Rinjani National Park: A Complete Guide for Visitors
Mount Rinjani National Park (Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani, TNGR) is one of Indonesia’s most famous natural destinations, located on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The Rinjani volcano is an active stratovolcano and a popular spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering breathtaking views and challenging trekking routes. National Park Entrance Fee
Visitors to Mount Rinjani National Park are required to pay an entrance fee, which helps support the conservation efforts and management of the park.
Entrance Fee: The entrance fee for domestic tourists is typically between IDR 50,000 to IDR 75,000 per day/ person for sembalun, senaru, and torean route. For international tourists, the fee is higher, ranging from IDR 250,000 per person/ day.

In response to the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2025 concerning entrance ticket classes for nature tourism visitors, the Mount Rinjani National Park Office has issued the following information:
Ticket Class and Rate Increases
Several hiking trails have undergone class changes, resulting in rate adjustments:
– Class 2 → Class 1: Sembalun, Senaru, and Torean Routes
– Foreign Nationals: IDR 200,000 → IDR 250,000 /day/person
– Indonesian Nationals on weekdays: IDR 20,000 → IDR 50,000
– Indonesian Nationals on holidays: IDR 30,000 → IDR 75,000
– Indonesian Nationals in groups of students: IDR 10,000 → IDR 25,000

– Class 3 → Class 2: Aikberik, Tetebatu, and Timbanuh Routes
– Foreign Nationals: IDR 150,000 → Rp200,000
– Indonesian citizens on weekdays: Rp10,000 → Rp20,000
– Indonesian citizens on holidays: Rp15,000 → Rp30,000
– Indonesian citizens in groups of students: Rp5,000 → Rp10,000
Effective: Monday, November 3, 2025
For visitors who have made reservations before that date, the old rates will still apply. If there are any extra climbing days, the new rates will apply.
This change is in line with efforts to improve service quality, conservation, and sustainable management of the Mount Rinjani National Park area.
